Hydrogen Cyanide
also known as Formonitrile, Purussic Acid, Formic Anammonide, Zyklon B.
Hydrogen Cyanide is a poisonous and deadly inorganic chemical compound composed of hydrogen, carbon and nitrogen.
Molecular Formula: CHN or HCN
Discovered by Swedish chemist, Carl Wilhelm Scheele in 1782, after isolating the pigment of prussian blue ( apigment of a deep blue composed of iron cyanides [Fe(CN)6]3-). Iron cyanide has a reddish tint and is used in paints and printing ink.
